10 Exercises for Toned Arms and Back

These exercises are some of my favorite ways to tone and sculpt my arms! Tried and true, these exercises have helped me get the results I was looking for when done consistently. Remember to always switch it up a bit, more or less weight, more or less reps, different positions with each exercise, using a different piece of equipment. You want to keep your body guessing!

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: DUMBBELLS, RESISTANCE BAND WITH HANDLES,

Banded Face Pull

Keep elbows up high, squeeze shoulder blades. Targets the upper back.

Banded Kneeling Face Pull

Keep elbows up high, squeeze shoulder blades. Targets the upper back.

Bicep Curls

Targets the bicep.

Banded Tricep Pushdowns

Keep upper arm still, only move from the elbow down. This movement targets the back of the arm known as the tricep.

B/O Row

Targets the back.

Tricep Kickbacks

Keep upper arm still, move from the elbow down. Targets the back of the arm known as the tricep.

Delt Raises

Keep arms at a 90 degree angle, raise arms up to the sides to shoulder level. Targets the shoulders and deltoids.

Banded Straight Arm Pressdown

Keep arms straight. Targets the back.

Dumbbell Curl to Press

Targets the biceps and shoulders.

Banded Lat Pulldown

Similar to the face pull but elbows come down to the sides. Targets the back.
